First Group of Pakistani Pilgrims to Depart for Hajj on April 29

ISLAMABAD:

All the preparations they have made are for the 2025 Hajj operation and the first government hajj operation aircraft will take off on 29-04-2025. The last flight is expected to be launched on the 31 ^{st} of May, as stated by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.

The ministry has assured that altogether, 342 flights will be conducted to evacuate 89 thousand 500 pilgrims from Pakistan to KSA for Hajj. The operation will come to 33 days, of which 15 will directly include the airlift of pilgrims to Madina. They will then proceed to Makkah in order to perform specific activities of the pilgrimage.

Flight Operations

Having obtained the dates, the first Hajj flight will take off from Islamabad at 4:45 in the morning of April 29, with 393 passengers for the journey. Flights commenced with the help of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) along with the schedule that is to last for over a month.

Other flights from other cities of Pakistan will also operate on the same day to extend the hassle free journey for the large number of people intending to perform Umrah in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Below, the following Flight schedule is provided for the opening;

Lahore having two departures, the first one at 8:30 early in the morning to accommodate, 150 pilgrims and second at 10:15 at night with 329 pilgrims.

Islamabad: 1 flight — Flight Time: 04:45 AM (Number of passengers: 393).

Karachi: 1 flight — Departing at 9:30 PM (285 pilgrims).

Quetta: 1 flight — Flight no. 9:30 AM (Total capacity = 150).

Multan: 1 flight — Departing at 8:15 PM (393 pilgrims).

Private Hajj Scheme

Similarly, the private hajj pilgrims from Pakistan would be 23,620 provided they perform Hajj in 2025. It has also provided a list of HGO accredited in 2015 on its website to guide intending pilgrims on the service providers for this year’s hajj exercise.

It is advisable for such Pilgrims who have engaged the service of registered service providers to endeavor ascertain the status of their application and any signed contract. Important Guidelines for Pilgrims

All those concerned with approved service providers and the HGOs have been advised that they should provide updated contracts with respect to the allocated Hajj quota of 2025, before anyone can commence collecting payment from pilgrims.

To be on the safe side, pilgrims must ensure that their Hajj visas have to be issued before the date of April 18, 2025 corresponding to 24 Rajab 1440H as stipulated by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Hajj 2025 operation will be marked by efficient planning and its chief organizing aim will be to provide a safe journey to the pilgrims of Pakistan.
