Delhi planning military action in 24-36 hours

The leaders of Pakistan believe Indian military forces will attack in the next day or two based on solid information about regional tensions.

Minister Attaullah Tarar from the Information and Broadcasting department sent a firm tweet on X early Wednesday to argue India fabricates the Pahalgam attack last week as a pretext to attack Pakistan.

He warned that Pakistan would answer force with powerful action. India will face all possible consequences of escalating the situation in this area.

The Pakistani officials produced no hard proof of their intelligence findings and the Indian government stays quiet about these claims.

Defence Minister Warns of Military Escalation

Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif told Reuters on Monday that India will almost certainly launch a military attack soon which has made the situation between nuclear-armed countries more tense. The leadership of Pakistan states clearly that nuclear weapons will remain in storage until Pakistan faces a real threat of total destruction.

Fallout from the Pahalgam Attack

Casualties in Pahalgam marked a new high of violent losses to the public in Indian-administered Kashmir since 1996. TRF representatives who associate with Lashkar-e-Taiba acknowledged they organized the action. After the attack India blamed Pakistani agents but Pakistan denied participation and sought an outsider to examine the situation.

Diplomatic Retaliation and Border Skirmishes

The attack brought about a serious decline in political relations between the two countries. India and Pakistan took several defensive actions by stopping visa exchanges and airspace usage in addition to suspending India’s participation in the Indus Waters Treaty which is likely to end soon due to conflict.

Along the Line of Control there has been more cross-border firing which makes the entire region less stable.

Global Calls for De-escalation

Intervention from worldwide nations aims to stop further conflict from taking hold. The United States calls on India and Pakistan to make wise decisions in their present conflict. Secretary of State Marco Rubio intends to communicate with Pakistan and India’s foreign ministers to start talks which aim to stop conflict from getting worse.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has talked twice with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar to stress the urgent need for both countries to stay away from conflicts.
