China will help Pakistan’ defend itself

Coming up with the strong show of solidarity, leading Chinese scholar Professor Victor Gao declared that China will stand with Pakistan as it will stand against any aggression and back it in every possible way to protect Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Prof Gao — Vice President of Center for China and Globalization (CCG) in Beijing — said China is committed at all levels to assisting Pakistan in the present time of high regional tensions while speaking to Indian media.

India’s escalatory posture in response to the Pahalgam incident, which Pakistan labels as a false flag operation, is what his remarks come in the backdrop of.

Professor Gao remarked: “It is crucial to stop any form of aggression, and it is the need of the hour to undertake an impartial investigation into the Pahalgam attack.”

This statement echoed China’s strategic partnership with Pakistan since the border hostilities and political tensions seem to be escalating in the region.
